Saturday, June 23rd & Sunday, June 24th
Timmy Badua and Brett Wohletz had two big hits to break Game 1 open in route to a 14-6 victory against Crush Baseball. The 13 Navy squad finishes the year with a 18-12-2 record. We await playoff seeding that kicks off July 8th and 9th.
On a sunny, hot and humid Sunday - the red hot 14 Carolina team continued to roll and close out a great season finishing with a 21-5 record and securing the top seed. While there were many key contributors on teh day, the highlight of the day was Canyon Cochran. Canyon pitched his 2nd NO HIT performance of the year with 15 strikeouts, in a complete game (6 innings). He was helped by a strong offensive performance by his teammates.
Saturday, June 17th & Sunday, June 18th
13 Navy suffered their first losing record over a four game weekend this past weekend going 1-3 against Antonelli Baseball and BRB Baseball.
Ben Ragosa was one of a few bright spots -- Ben went 4-6 in Sunday's doubleheader against BRB Mello while also playing some solid defense at short spot and making his season debut on the mound.
13 Navy wraps up it's regular season this coming Saturday morning against Crush Baseball White at CCHS-JV Field.
14 Navy with a sweep of Boston Prime. Jack Sadowski pitched 5 innings, allowing 2 hits and 5 strikeouts. The offense lead by Ryan Scull, Joe Grasso and Luke Grossman. In Game 2, the boys received solid pitching from Johnny Connolly and Matt Pizzi in relief. Being down 4-2 in the Top of the 7th, the boys ralled with a clutch hit from Stephen McCabe. The RT2 boys ended up taking home the 9-4 victory.
Saturday, June 10th & Sunday, June 11th
Owen McGowan threw 5 shut out innings against a solid GBG Northeast team on Sunday afternoon. Owen only threw 51 pitchers threw 5 frames -- only allowing 2 hits in a 11-0 rout. Timmy Badua, Lucas Lilley, Lucas Sousa, Vinny Hogan, and Wes Morse all with big hits in the 4th inning to break the game wide open. 13 Navy goes 3-1 on the weekend to bring their overall record to 16-8-2.
13u Carolina 'Player of the Week' is Tsering Komyerov who made more than a handful of put outs in left field including a few that he had to travel a long way for; he has done this consistently all year. He also pitched in with multiple hits including a big 2 out, 2 RBI single in a big moment.
He is always hustling and had a great day on the base paths too.
Saturday, June 3rd & Sunday, June 4th
Our 'Players of the Week' go to Jackson Reed for leading the team offensively this weekend and hitting his first home run of the season to straight away center field. Also Riley Abend led the team in one of the biggest pitching outings of the season going 5 innings with no earned runs to get a critical Game 1 win.
Ben Brooks pitched the last 3 innings in our Playoff Weekend - Game 3. He gave up only 1 run and getting the hold for us to advance. He was poised and accountable.
He was on base in the most important times for us this weekend.
In Game 2, we were down in the 6th. He lead off with a walk. proceeded to steal 2nd and 3rd. Our next batter hit him in to tie the game which led us to win and push the series to a deciding Game 3!
In Game 3, we were tied in the 5th and he hit a single to score a run and take the lead!

Solid weekend as we swept both games. Pitching was the story -- in Game 1, Stephen McCabe pitched 5 innings with Will Sadowski coming in for the final two frame to lead the Blue Sox to a 4-0 win over the MWS Devils.
Game 2 was all Johnny Connolly, he dominated through 6 innings, striking out 10 and only allowing one walk!
The offense was led by Matt Pizzi, Nick Antetomaso and Joe Grasso who had multiple hits and RBI.
On a rainy Saturday in what seems to be a pattern for Carolina’s season.
Andrew Reilly led the way with multiple hits, including his aggressive base-running for a sweep over the Needham Rockets.
Saturday, May 20th & Sunday, May 21st
Michael McCabe led the way today, he had 5 hits and 4 SB. Michael also pitched 3 innings with 4K to close out Game 2.
Jackson threw a gem Game 1 and led the team defensively making a diving catch in foul territory where Coach Pasta almost tackled him with excitement. Also broke in his new bat by hitting the ball hard multiple times during our double header.
Rylan Riccuiti went 4 for 10 on the weekend with 2 walks while playing stellar defense in multiple positions!
Ryan Forsythe pitched a shutout and went 3-5 with 3 RBI’s.
In a water logged day at the ballpark, the 13 Navy team squandered away two leads in both games to the Dugout Dawgs and left CCHS with two bad losses. One of the only bright spots on the day was Colin Gallagher finding his power as he went 2 for 3 with a single and double with a run scored and 1 RBI.
The boys are off for Memorial Day Weekend but will return to action on Saturday, June 3rd against NE Stampede Black.
Player of the Week for 13 Carolina is Ari Maslan. Ari has been nursing a sore arm for the past few weeks, so he has been unable to play the field. However, he continues to show up with a positive attitude and is competing real hard at the plate. His base running and attitude have been remarkable.
Will Sadowski pitched 6 innings, giving up 5 hits, 4 strikeouts and 1 walk.
All games scheduled this weekend were rained out!
Saturday, May 13th & Sunday, May 14th
Teddy Dever had a stellar day at the plate, 5 hits including 3 2B. Teddy also pitched 2 innings in Game 1 while making some key defensive plays at 3B. Paul Murphy was also a X-factor offensively, scoring 6 times with 5 SB

Rocco Sabatino lead our team offensively all weekend long including his first home run in Game 1 of Saturday.
Dylan Courtney kept up his torrid pace at the plate & going big fly again on Saturday. Dylan reached base more than half his plate appearances over the 4 games, and continuing his platinum glove type defense at first base.
Aiden Glynn was our player of the week. He was moved to SS and 3B both days and did an outstanding job. He made many great plays that kept us close in some of our games this weekend. He crushed the ball as well with 2 homeruns and 5 RBI's.
Rami Flummerfelt threw a complete game shut out -- Rami squandered 6 hits, didn't allow a walk and had 2 strikeouts in a 5-0 victory over Nokona Baseball. Wes Morse was the offensive spark for the Navy squad with a moon shot home run in the second inning and followed that up with a stand-up triple in the top of the 3rd.
Player of the week for Carolina 13u goes to Ryan Brother. His team first attitude and unselfishness as a player and a teammate is noticeable, contagious and a great example of leadership that is consistent game after game.
Had a solid weekend going 3-1. Pitching again was stellar. Stephen McCabe and Will Sadowski with solid performances on Saturday. Sunday on the bump was lead by Matt Pizzi, Carter Meyer, Chuckie Fecteau and Nick Antetomaso. Bats were lead by will Grossman, and Andrew Sousa.
On Saturday, 14 Carolina was led by Hanyuan Zhang who collected 3 hits, 2 sacrifice bunts, several outstanding catches in the outfield, one being a game saver helping Carolina with a 🧹 of the the Dugout Dawgs!
On a day when the bats went silent and things went awry throughout the day, Canyon Cochran pitched what might be his most dominant performance to date against the Hit Dr Diamonds with 6 2/3 innings allowing no hits with 10 strikeouts! He also helped his cause with a multi hit, multi RBI game with a run scored!
Saturday, May 6th & Sunday, May 7th
We had two Players of the Week -- Adam Jaffe had a huge RBI double in the second game, while Andrew Alexopolous also had a key double and huge run saving catch in CF with the bases loaded to end the inning.
The offense was led by Shep this weekend and well as a few great plays in the field. Cael was a great leader and a wall all weekend behind the plate.
Marco Racanelli had 9 Plate appearances over the four game weekend, Marco went 3-6 with 3 BBs and his first home run of the year, while also throwing some quality innings on the mound!
Loki Ranta he had an exceptional day defensively at 2B with some timely plays to give us the wins on Saturday. He was a spark for our lineup both days getting on base more than half of his 11 AB’s. Kept people up on the bench and talking throughout both days!
Owen McGowan took the mound in Game 1 against the South Shore Rox on a beautiful Saturday morning at Woburn High School. Owen dominated from the first pitch - with some help from some timely defense! Owen went 5 innings, scattering 4 hits with 6 strikeouts to help the 13 Navy squad get off to a great start on the weekend with a 4-1 victory.
On Saturday, Will Fiorentino pitched a complete game 1 hitter… with the only hit being on a well executed hit and run. Will fielded his position well with 6 put outs. On Sunday, Nathan Kelly ended up playing both games due to a catcher injury.. stepped up and did amazing for us with limited stolen bases from our opponent. A great sweep on the weekend!
Strong Weekend for the 14 Navy Squad going 2-2 against the best competition they have faced all season. Mathew Pizzi with a complete game - 9 strikeout performance.
On Sunday, the boys split the series with the Giants Futures. In Game 2, Will Sadowski pitched a 6 inning NO HITTER! He only allowed one walk and had 6 strikeouts on the day. Offensively, Carter Meyer and Will Grossman had great days at the plate!
James Melanson was on fire for the day with 4 hits, with 3 stolen bases, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored helping Carolina split the day against a tough Nor'Easters team.
On a day when the defense and pitching wasn't at it's best, the player of the day was named TEAM! From the top to the bottom of the line-up the team rose up time and time again to overcome adversity in Game 1 and continued into Game 2. Carolina earned the DH sweep over Sluggers Fury! Everyone in the line-up had at least 2 hits with many coming with runners in scoring position.
A true TEAM day!
Saturday, April 29th & Sunday, April 30th
Levi Kocur was behind the plate for 10 innings and was spectacular defensively, Levi also had a key double for an insurance run that helped secure the win.
Owen Roberts was solid in his relief appearance to close out game 1, and also had a critical RBI in the late innings.
Tucker O’Neil stepped up big for us this weekend defensively making several diving plays in centerfield that should have been on SportCenter Top 10 plays.
The entire team. A true team effort in two victories this weekend.
Tate Lawson was our player of the week. Had a very solid day defensively at 1st, no errors or miscues. He went 5-7 with 3 doubles and 5 RBI’s!
Going up against a solid 13u Elite team (Show NE Elite Thompson) on Saturday afternoon -- Joey Prager (Game 1) and Colin Gallagher (Game 2) completely shut down their offense.
In Game 1, Joey Prager went 5 innings (80 pitches), allowing 1 run on 3 hits, 2 walks with 3 strikeouts.
In Game 2, Colin Gallagher also went 5 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits and 4 walks with 1 strikeout.
The Blue Sox walked away with a 3-3 tie and 9-6 victory before the rain started to come down
13u Carolina had two decisive wins this weekend winning Game 1 in a mercy decision by a score of 15-0. Game 2 was much of the same with the good guys walking away with a 10-3 win. Our pitching continued to be the difference and our player of the week goes to Chris Childs after showing tremendous poise coming into a tough situation in Game 2 with the team trailing and inheriting runners. Chris was unflappable and continued to show the same comfort and control over the next few innings while our bats came alive to give him the support he needed to pound the strike zone.
Carter Meyer -- his 2 run double broke a 6-6 tie in Game 2. Carter also picked up a save pitching a scoreless 7th inning to secure the 9-6 victory.
Connor Brown -- Connor helped seal the double header sweep by belting a bases clearing double and a shut down performance on the mound giving Carolina the 9-1 victory against Evo Alpha

Ronan Sullivan and Jackson Reed are this weeks 11u "Players of the Week". Ronan reached base safely during both games on Saturday -- going 3 for 3 with 3 walks. Jackson Reed pitched 4 shutout innings with 8 strikeouts to lead us to an 11-0 win over the Jr. Swamp Bats.
While he didn’t get the win, Leo Brodsky pitched awesome, keeping 12 Navy in the game every inning. Leo pitched 5 innings, allowing 3 hits, 2 earned runs, 1 walk, 7Ks while only throwing 56 pitches. Additionally, Leo went 1-3 at the plate during our Saturday doubleheader.
Michael Savoy was on fire this weekend! Michael went 7-8 on the day with a triple and 3 doubles.
He started on the mound in Game 2; going 3 innings with 5k's. Overall showed a lot of leadership in the dugout and out on the field and kept our bats hot for the weekend.
Going up against a solid Nor'Easters squad from the Elite Division, Ben Ragosa and Timmy Badua paced the offense that was short staffed due to some school vacations.
Ben went 3-5 with a double, walk, run scored and a RBI. While, Timmy went 3-5 with a walk and a RBI during the Saturday morning DH.
Ryan Brother took the mound in Game 1 and although our team was playing less than adequate defense behind him, he maintained his composure and continued to support his teammates who were struggling defensively.
Additionally, he had consistently positive at-bats throughout a tough team offensive day. Whether it was simply seeing deep counts that resulted in several walks or making a hard out that moved a runner over, he had a very solid approach and plan each at bat.
Mathew Pizzi -- Matthew went 4 innings, allowing only 1 run. Offensively, Matthew had 2 doubles with 4 RBI.
William Beach was solid behind the plate, throwing out a base runner and collecting 2 hits.
After 14u Carolina played maybe it’s worst game of the early spring season in Game 1, Aaron Jurkiewicz came in to pitch in the Top of the 2nd of Game 2, with runners on 1st and 2nd and completely shutdown the Brookline Bandits offense with 10 strikeouts, no walks, 2 hits, and 0 runs while only needing 50 pitches to get through 6 full innings.
Saturday, April 15th & Sunday, April 16th
Teddy Dever maintained a positive attitude and had some nice defensive plays at P and 3B.
Tucker O'Neil and CJ Vroom led our team both at the bat, on the mound and in the field for a great 3-1 weekend result. Both players exemplified what it means to lead by example on the field this weekend.
Colten Carmichael with 5 1/3 strong innings on the mound, banging the strike zone all day and finishing off some hitters with some filthy off-speed. Additionally, he went 4-9 through the 4 games at the plate.
Ryan Forsythe recorded 9 strikeouts on the mound while also belting 2 doubles and 5 RBIs on the weekend.
13 Navy swept the weekend (4-0) against Antonelli Gold and Slam Baseball -- Timmy Badua led the offensive from the leadoff position, going 7 for 10 with 4 walks, 2 doubles and 8 runs scored while playing a solid left-field.
Rami Flummerfelt set the stage for the weekend in Game 1 on Saturday morning against Antonelli Baseball with 5 innings pitched, allowing 4 hits and only 1 run with 7 strikeouts.
Leo Gannon got praise from the umpire and opposing coach for his great attitude and performance. He was also on base 6 out of 7 at-bats with hits, walks, and a hit by pitch, 2 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
Stephen McCabe threw 6 scoreless Innings, only allowing 1 hit during Saturdays doubleheader sweep of the Nor'Easters Blue squad.
Colin Gibson played solid defense and had a key hit to deliver a victory and Alex Sergers had multiple hits in numerous games.

Saturday, April 8th
Benjamin Johnston pitched 2 1/3 innings striking out 6 and had a couple of big hits during their win against the MDB Knights Gold squad on Saturday.
Cayden Zaganjori and Tommy Vittiglio each with a multi-hit day to start off the season during their doubleheader against the Runbirds Baseball.
Joey Ulbricht-Puopolo played great this weekend. Joey made some great plays in the field, including a game tying double in Game 1 on Saturday against Boston Prime Orange at Banta Davis Field in Carlisle, MA.
Sam Lee did his best Ohtani impression with strong innings on the mound and a big home run despite the loss to GBG Northeast on Saturday afternoon.
Noah Katz went 4-6 on the day at the plate with 3 doubles. He also pitched 3 innings with 7 strikeouts in their 9-3 victory over NEB in Game 1 on Saturday.
Joey Prager took the mound in Game 1 on Saturday morning and did not disappoint. Joey dominated the NEB hitters through 3 2/3 innings, allowing 2 runs (0 earned), on 2 hits, 1 walk and 11 strikeouts. Offensively, Joey reached base in all 5 of his at-bats over the doubleheader while scoring 2 runs.
Ben Siegel came in relief and pitched a great couple innings in Game 1 to help preserve the 16-13 victory. Additionally, Nate Kelley made a great defensive play in Game 2 en route to a 11-7 victory to secure the doubleheader sweep.
Mathew Pizzi led the 14 Navy boys in a 4-3 victory over the East Coast Eagles Blue by spinning a gem -- 6 innings with 0 runs allowed, and 8 strikeouts.
Hanyuan Zhang demonstrated what being a team player is all about. Throughout the Saturday doubleheader against the Sluggers Fury, Hanyuan patrolled the OF, 2B, and even hopped behind the dish in Game 2.
