2026-2027 Tryout Information
We are pleased to announce our Tryout Dates for our
2026-2027 Blue Sox teams!
In the Spring of 2027, we will have one to two teams at each age level (11u, 12u, 13u & 14u). Each team will compete within the Massachusetts/ New England Perfect Game League.
For those who will be 14 on or after 5/1/27 and entering the 9th grade; we will allow those players to play 14u next season. If we think your son is a good fit, we may also offer him a spot on the 2030 Summer Tournament Team. Players in this situation can also opt to try out only for the 2030 team.
All Players are encouraged, but not required to attend more than one tryout. For the 2030, 2029 and 2028 Summer College Prospect Tournament teams, Pitchers and Catchers ARE REQUIRED to attend the Pitching and Catching tryout dates. We reserve the right to ask a player to attend an additional tryout date for a better evaluation before making a final decision.
For the Summer of 2027, we will have a College Prospect team for the graduating class of 2030 (Freshman), class of 2029 (Sophomores), and the class of 2028 (Juniors). Each College Prospect team will compete in 6-7 tournaments beginning the first week of June and running through the first week in August.
Tournament locations are typically local with overnight hotel stays required in at least one tournament. In recent years we have traveled to Georgia, Florida, Maine, New Hampshire, and New Jersey for National and Regional tournaments.
